Warmer Days Coming!

It's finally starting to warm up a smidge today in NEO, although tomorrow is supposed to be cooler again. With just a few patches of snow left on the ground now, wandering around campus is going to be looking very different very quickly. Of course, we're not the only ones looking forward to changes in the weather, as somebody is probably getting pretty sick of what's out there to eat right now. Here are just a couple of our first (informal) finds, as I played-ahem- planned a bit on the grounds.

About This Project

"Biodiversity" describes how many and what kind of organisms live in a place. It is an important measure of how well a habitat is doing and helpful in deciding conservation practices. It also provides useful descriptive information about a place in general. Furthermore, information on biodiversity can be used to look at how similar are various areas, and which areas- when protected- would benefit the most organisms.
