About why you should support our project.

We earnestly ask you to support our project. It is true that our project is worthy of support. But the reason is not well known. Now I'm going to explain why.

First, it is a study that will bring new perspectives on the molecular mechanisms of plants. We haven't thought of plants as 'not too complicated' until now. For example, from today's point of view, chloroplasts are just production plants that exist in leaves. But our research will completely change that fragmentary view. Second, it has the potential to make an enormous contribution to agriculture. Everyone, think about it. It's just a little bit of repetitive genetic manipulation that makes plants stronger, healthier and more fertile. Of course there are still genetic engineering methods, but these are methods that require the use of pesticides and are expensive. However, if our research is successful, slight twisting of the gene can yield two additional great agricultural benefits simultaneously: a significant increase in nitrogen fixation efficiency and control of plant wilt. Third, this study is a study that uncovers new areas. It has tremendous value in itself.

Now, I think you have enough reasons to come and support our project. Thanks a lot for your support!

About This Project

The Inverted Sequence (IR) of some plants is one of well-known kind of special sequences. But, until now, the exact mechanism of how the IR sequence is made hasn't discovered yet. Most plants have an IR regions, but legumes do not have an IR regions, and among them, deciduous legumes have an IR zone. Thus, the purpose of our study is to elucidate the structure and mechanism of the IR region. Additionally, our team is going to figure out the relationship of it and plants' deciduousness.
