MAB Delivery to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The box has been delivered, thanks to everyone who contributed to this campaign! We brought it up to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on Tuesday afternoon (June 30) to be inspected by the keepers and veterinarian staff. Aside from a few spots that needed extra filing down, and the need to paint it to stop rust, it got the all clear! The zoo is pretty busy this time of the year, so testing won't begin until August probably, at which point I'll start uploading some of the videos here for you all to see. I'm excited, and the staff at the CMZoo seemed to share my excitement, so I think this is going to be a fun project. We decided that the smaller cat species (like lynxes) might get stuck in the box, so they'll need to use a smaller box (if any). The box itself is too big to fit through the door into the mountain lion enclosure also, but the other species are go! We might send out the smaller hyena MAB for those other species to use this fall.
