Growth and Meetings!

Not only were we amazed by the growth of Fomes fometopsis in the silicon muffin trays (hearts and flowers, this time) after only 4 days (!), including on the pure wood shavings substrate (Fig1), but we had a lively discussion, begun with a presentation by Olivier on the BeeMoS project (begun by him 6 years ago, today, during his first presentation at the old Hackuarium!), around our plans for the participatory research for this project (Fig2-4).

Although Yngvar, who was at the Swiss union of mycological societies general meeting last Sunday in Cossonay, made it clear that there is a contingent who are not so keen on sequencing, after the contacts made last Friday, and the iNaturalist links, we are still encouraged, and looking forward...
