Data collection is finished!

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry it took so long to publish a new update. We have completed data collection. Surprisingly, we learned a lot about how online surveys work that much of the research literature hasn't talked about. We hope to be able to publish an additional paper on that (though it's unclear at that time whether that is fully feasible). Those anomalies contributed to this project taking much more time than expected! Regardless, we have good data now and are getting some questions answered. We're busy analyzing and I'm hoping to publish some more updates very soon.

Thank you again for your support. This project would not have been possible without you.

About This Project

Deciding whether to disclose a mental illness (MI) at work may have a impact on one's quality of life. Those with a mental illness are simultaneously encouraged and discouraged from disclosing due to competing factors such as discrimination and accommodation-seeking. We hope to better understand how people with MI think about disclosing in order to ensure that disclosure-decisions are more fully informed and supported in the workplace.

Blast off!
