Ok, so while we did achieve 102% funding, what we now know is that not all the pledged funding was actually collected by experiment.com and it was not until 02 January 2024 that the funds actually reached us!*

So, the study is about to start with a visit by Vicki to Richard's Wellness Centre in Brentwood Tuesday and Wednesday next week. We still have a few wrinkles to iron out in retrieving the required data from the Animana (IDEXX) but we are excited to finally get started!

* (one large donation had to come to us in a separate transaction on 08 December 2023).

"Congratulations on reaching 102% funding! The journey from achieving your funding goal to the actual collection is indeed a crucial part of any crowdfunding endeavor. It's not uncommon for platforms to take some time to process and transfer funds. For more electrical blogs Click here.

About This Project

More and more owners are turning to feeding raw, biologically appropriate food to their dogs as they believe it is better for their dog’s health. However, there is a lack of evidence about the effect of raw feeding on the frequency and severity of health conditions in raw versus dry-fed dogs. This study aims to answer this question by comparing the health of raw and dry-fed dogs in a single, large veterinary practice in the UK.
