About This Project
Our group has been intensely studying how vascular and cognitive health intersect. The clustering of cardiovascular risk factors and insulin insensitivity, known as metabolic syndrome, in a single individual is a growing public health concern. We are trying to understand the impact of metabolic syndrome components on vascular health, brain structure and cognitive function.
