Community Meeting

If you're in the Denver area, please join us for a community meeting to discuss the indoor air quality project! We will give the larger Northeast Denver community an overview of the project, provide some education on radon and radon testing, and answer questions prospective participants may have. Additionally, a limited number of free radon test kits will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis to interested meeting attendees. Light refreshments will be provided, help spread the word (especially if you know anyone in the local area), this event is free and open to members of the public Hope to see you there!

About This Project

The harmful effects of indoor air contaminants, such as perchloroethylene (PERC), are clear. Knowing how to assess our own risk is less clear. We will assemble and distribute air quality test kits to homes in Northeast Denver in order to collect data on two pollutants: PERC and radon. Our goals are simple, help a local community understand if they are at risk, raise awareness of air quality issues, and test a low-cost method for PERC detection that could allow anyone to screen their home.

Blast off!
