In this photo, you can see me at the total station (equipment used to map the site) with a solar battery and panels set up, so we can make sure we get the last few shots before we break for lunch. As you can imagine, working in a remote location, power is hard to come by. Mostly we use solar panels and batteries, and while we have several panels so far, every new piece of equipment needs more power. Its a bit of a cloudy day in this photo, but most days are clear and sunny and solar power is the most reliable source we have. The centrifuge for this project will use a lot of power and the battery I have now will not provide enough steady power to run it for any length of time.

With 6 days left in my campaign, I have decided to add a stretch goal for fundraising. I've added a new battery and a new solar panel to the budget so I can reliably power my equipment in the field. If you would like to help me reach this stretch goal, please consider pledging.
