Final $1000 matching dollar challenge!!!! Double the impact of your donation!With our backers' support we are now down to the final $1000 we need to raise to fully fund our project developing new drugs to treat breast cancer and other solid tumors. One of our donors has generously offered to match the next $500 of donations dollar for dollar to get us to our funding goal. This doubles the impact of your donation! Can we stop the spread of breast cancer?

Case Western Reserve University

Cancer treatment is a challenging, complex and exhausting process for the patient, their family and medical team. Chemotherapy kills both cancer and normal cells, and may not prevent remaining cancer cells from spreading. Our research team believes that by turning up a gene HEXIM1, it has a way to stop most cancers from spreading. This could make cancer treatment more palatable and effective and ultimately make cancer a more survivable disease.
