    About This Project

Brackish tidal marshes are vital blue-carbon ecosystems, but rising methane emissions threaten their stability and accelerate climate change. This project investigates whether a bioengineered humic-acid-binding peptide can enhance natural microbial processes that suppress methane production. If successful, this research could help advance new biotechnology approaches for wetland restoration and greenhouse gas reduction. Your support will help turn this idea into a real scientific investigation.
